Inclement weather policy

If JCPS schools are closed, only Morning Certified Food Manager Classes will be canceled. Afternoon classes will remain in effect unless otherwise noted. If your scheduled class is canceled, you must call within 7 days to reschedule, otherwise a new registration will be required. You can find the most up to date information on this website or by calling the automated voice mail system 458-0841.

You can now download and print your certificate. Click the Download Certificate to list test results and download a copy of your Certificate. If you did not score at least 70%, you will not have a Certificate.
You can also do it by mail at Martha Gregory & Assoc., Inc., c/o LMPHW Certificate Request, 3010 Taylor Springs Dr., Louisville KY, 40220 (this will take much longer). Money orders or checks are accepted for this service along with an completed application with 'Duplicate' written on top.

Participant Information not found on Sign up/Confirm

Please call the Health Dept. at (502)574-6650 and verify the name and SSN of the person you are trying to set up. Allow 2-5 days for the data to be transmitted.

It's been more than 90 days since I paid

You need to attend a class within 90 days of your application payment. You will need to re-apply and pay and wait 2-5 days for the info to be transmitted.

A person previously paid for is no longer working. Can their replacement take their spot?

Yes. Contact the Health Dept. at (502)574-6650 to make the replacement. Please allow 2-5 days for the data to be transmitted. The replacement notification needs to be made 48 hours prior to the start of class.

The class I want is full. Can I be put on a standby list?

No. You will need to sign up for a class that is not full. If none remain within your 90 day window, you will need to contact the Health Dept. at (502)574-6650.

What time do I need to be at the class? What do I bring and not bring with me?

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time to sign in. You must have a photo ID. Do not bring any food or beverages with exception to bottled water. The testing site is smokefree

I need to Cancel or Reschedule

You must cancel or reschedule 24 hours prior to your scheduled class time. Cancelling forfeits rescheduling so if you just want to be in a future class, click the Signup/Reschedule/Confirm section and select another class date. If you are beyond your 90 day window or it is less than 24 hours prior to your original class date, you will need to contact the health dept and either repay the fees or provide documentation of your excused absense.
